The Beaver Project, is an ongoing series, based on my research of beaver habitats around Southern and Central Ontario, Canada. Beavers transform landscapes and engineer ecosystems beneficial to themselves, the environment and others. The detrimental effects of human impact on our environment can be overwhelming and I believe that beavers give hope. Beavers are not pests, but beneficial to our environment.
